Crete Field Trip : Chora Sfakion

This is the website of the June 2009 Human and Physical Geography field class to Chora Sfakion, Crete, organised by the University of Reading, UK.

The site includes the pre-field trip preparatory information, highlights from the blogs completed in the field by the students and the light hearted videos which capture each group’s experiences.

The students utilised a range of Web 2.0 technologies including wordpress blogs, twitter, flickr and youtube and combined these with traditional geographical observation and measurement to provide a new dimension to their intepretation and analysis.
